Our work begins once the structural floor base has been completed and is ready for the underfloor heating build-up. From this stage, our team installs the required floor preparation, insulation and UFH pipework according to the project specification.
Our Installation Process
01 – Existing Structural Floor Base
The structural concrete slab or other specified structural floor is completed by the main contractor before our installation begins. We check that the area is suitable and ready for the required floor build-up.
02 – Damp Proof Membrane (DPM)
Where required by the project specification, we install the DPM over the prepared structural base, creating the required protective layer beneath the insulation system.
03 – Rigid Insulation Installation
We install rigid insulation boards to the specified thickness and layout. The boards are carefully positioned to create a stable and properly prepared base for the underfloor heating system.
04 – UFH Pipe Fixing System
Pipe fixing clips are installed to securely position the heating pipes and maintain the required spacing throughout the floor area.
05 – Underfloor Heating Pipe Installation
UFH pipework is installed according to the project drawings and heating design. Our installers maintain accurate pipe spacing and carefully form each heating circuit across the required areas.
06 – Connection & Pressure Testing
Where included within the project scope, the pipework is connected to the manifold and pressure tested to verify the integrity of the installed system before the next construction stage begins.
